Dr. Yizheng Wu
Dr. Wu is the Medical Director for SkinWithin Medical Aesthetics. She is an active physician certified by the College of Physicians of Ontario and brings with her more than 18 years of diversified experience in family medicine, anti-aging, and wellness. She received her certification for Cosmetics at the Canadian Board of Aesthetic Medicine™ (CBAM) and continues to increase her knowledge and understanding of cosmetic enhancements and skincare while providing exceptional patient-focused care.
Dr. Wu has always been fond of the beauty industry and has maintained a passion for making others feel confident in themselves. Combining her medical experience with the highest level of artistry, Dr. Wu offers customized non-surgical facial procedures within the field of aesthetic medicine.
Dr. Wu understands how important each individual's concerns are. Dr. Wu specializes in providing all available options that will produce a soft and very natural results . She is a diligent and compassionate physician who enjoys working with her patients to explore various ways to help them achieve their aesthetic goals. Through thorough consultations, she is able to create customized treatment plans that are tailored to every patient’s aesthetic goals. Dr. Wu is a strong advocate for patient education and believes patient safety is of the utmost importance and only endorses procedures and products that provide very natural-looking results.
Dr. Wu is fluent in English, French, and Mandarin.
Nurse Claudia Paternina- Houle
Claudia is a Cosmetic Nurse with extensive experience in the HealthCare field. Her career began as a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) in Colombia, S.A and then as a Registered Practical Nurse in acute and primary care for 10 years in Ottawa.
Nurse Claudia completed her degree in Dentistry at the University El Bosque in Bogota, and nursing in Algonquin College in Ottawa.
Her background in Dentistry gave her an understanding of principles such as facial harmony and balance, which are absolutely critical in creating the natural results her clients are looking for. She had always wanted to combine her thorough knowledge of facial anatomy, beauty and health and Aesthetic Nursing was a perfect match!
Nurse Claudia will take the time to thoroughly educate you in an environment that supports your safety, trust and confidence. She takes cosmetic concerns seriously and will work with you to enhance your natural beauty, help your feel more confident, address any concerns while producing the most natural looking results.
